UpCountry Brewing is always supporting local art and music in Asheville and the neighboring locations like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop located in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will be featuring one artist a month to show their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for buy and display. Along with a month long campaign, each artists gets a delegated Pint Night at the brewery in addition to at Bad Craft. The artist of the month is present and able to discuss their work, and a pint glass featuring the artist's work is available for buy. UpCountry will always value the support of local music, art and beer and they'll continue to support all of these. Along with hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery has been known for live streaming music, but it is extra attention to when Phish plays. They typically pull down the large projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! The other known live streams that the brewery is concentrating on are Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry will always encourage Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy brews and boogie.
