In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop positioned in Black Mountain, NC. Other bands that we love to host include The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Together with hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was known for live streaming music, but it is sensitive to Phish plays. They usually pull down the huge projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is actually known for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry motivates Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an exceptional job with developing the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will definitely wear his jersey so you should keep an eye out.
