UpCountry Brewing is a brewery, taproom, and music venue located at 1042 Haywood Road in West Asheville. We like to state that we brew our beer in "West, West Asheville," as it is the brewery located furthest west prior to leaving Beer City itself.
UpCountry Brewing can provide lots of beer styles, that may include saisons, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts and more. With approximately 20 of its own beers on tap, the brew house is thinking of making new beers for everybody to enjoy. UpCountry Brewing can offer flights, pints, goblets and also a 22-once pour in the taproom. In addition, the brewery has beer to go for buy! UpCountry has worked with organizations including Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass that can be changed every week. Buyers can purchase a featured beer and they can also keep the glass, with 10 percent profit going to the featured nonprofit. Local Art And Music

Apart from hosting live music, it is already known that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery has been known for live streaming music, but it is extra attention to when Phish plays. They pull down the big projection screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance. Other live streams the brewery is actually recognized for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry will always encourage Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy brews and boogie.

There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. You have to keep an eye out because Cochran will surely wear his jersey.
