Aside from brewing and selling beer, UpCountry can provide a full food menu that features appetizers, burgers, pizzas, salads, soups, hot dogs and meals for dogs. We even have dessert alternatives for the folks who love sweets. Our wide menu variety provides something for everybody! We are also vegan and gluten-free friendly. Even if you are actually on a diet, we are going to do everything to accommodate you. We have plenty of alternatives for the entire family, along with kid-friendly and dog friendly menu for family and friends to enjoy.
When you've worked up an appetite hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway or floating down the French Broad River, UpCountry is the ideal place to meet up with friends or family and satisfy your hunger. After you eat your dinner, lunch or snack, you could always try our corn hole and other activities scheduled at the brewery. Aside from live music, we've got a yoga class during Sunday, music bingo on Wednesday and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry prefers a different local nonprofit to represent their 'Miracle Pint Night' each Thursday. UpCountry has worked with organizations such as Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. Buyers will definitely purchase a featured beer and they could keep the glass. The 10 percent of the sales will be going to the nonprofit orgs. At UpCountry, community is essential, and these pint nights are just one method for the brewery to provide back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing supports local art and music in Asheville and close, neighboring places, such as Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop situated in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist every month to show their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display along with for buy. Aside from the month long campaign, the artist will also get a delegated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and also discuss their work along a pint glass featuring the work of the artist. UpCountry will always support the local music, art and beer in your community and will continue doing this in the future. Apart from hosting live music, it's already known that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery is well-known for live streaming music, but is extra attentive to when Phish plays. They pull down the huge projection screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance. Other live streams the brewery is noted for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry motivates Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

We provide all of our music with NO cover charge. UpCountry does not wish to limit live music to having a cover charge, which is why all of our events are free to the public.

Good Beer Hunting
UpCountry's latest logo re-design is the best thanks to the Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an outstanding job with developing the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you don't know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
