In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist each month to show their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display in addition to for buy. We are also hosting other bands like Mama Danger, Cat and Crow, Astral Plainsmen, Sirius B., The Dirty Badgers, The Junk Drawer, The Free Wheelin' Mamas, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Moonlight Street Folk and more.
Along with hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was recognized for live streaming music, but it's responsive to Phish plays. They are going to pull down the large projection screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance freely. The other known live streams that the brewery is concentrating on are Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry encourages Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been highly rated thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an outstanding job with creating the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are tons of canning designs on the way so you need to stay tuned.
For those who do not know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
