UpCountry always hosts a local artist monthly along with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery could be featuring one artist a month to show their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for buy and display. We've got other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Aside from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery is known for live streaming music, but it is extra focus on when Phish plays. They pull down the huge projection screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance. Other live streams the brewery is noted for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry motivates Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!
