Aside from live music, it's not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery was noted for live streaming music, but it's responsive to Phish plays. They pull down the large projection screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance. Other live streams the brewery is definitely noted for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry's latest logo re-design have been the best and it's all thanks to Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done a phenomenal job with creating the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
For those who don't know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. You should keep an eye out because Cochran will unquestionably wear his jersey.
