UpCountry Brewing provides a number of beer styles, including saisons, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts, and more. We have over 20 types of beers on tap and we're still seeking to create new beers that everybody will definitely enjoy. UpCountry provides flights, goblets, pints, and even a twenty-two ounce pour in the taproom. Additionally, the brewery has beer to go for buy! Beer to go includes a growler with your preference of beer, or cans of the Mangose, UpCo Lager, Hop Dread Red IPA, or Bogey Free Session IPA. Along with the taproom, the beer of UpCountry may be present in different towns and supermarkets, bottle shops and bars located in Asheville, together with the towns like Woodfin, Waynesville, Canton, Candler, Black Mountain, Arden, Hendersonville, Weaverville, and neighboring places.
We also have our extensive beer list that's the best for beer nerds everywhere. We always value creativeness and daring recipes along with those go-to, easy drinking styles that everybody would enjoy. We are infusing some of our brews with different syrups and flavors that can provide an extra creative kick. The brewery also includes a Randall for infusions and also a pilot brew system to take the brewing a step further. We always focus on experimentation and seeing the deliciousness that we can make with the usage of the knowledge from the brewers.

If you love sweets, we also have different dessert alternatives available for you. Our wide menu variety provides something for everybody! We are also vegan and gluten-free friendly. Once you have worked up an appetite by hiking at the Blue Ridge Parkway or floating down the French Broad River, UpCountry is the best place to speak to your friends and satisfy your hunger. After you eat your dinner, lunch or snack, you can always try our corn hole and other activities scheduled at the brewery. Together with live music, we host a yoga class on Sunday mornings, music bingo on Wednesdays, and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry can select a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry already worked different organizations like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass which will be changed every week. Clients can purchase a featured beer and they can also keep the glass, with 10 percent profit going to the featured nonprofit. At UpCountry, community is essential, and these pint nights are just one way for the brewery to give back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing is always supporting local art and music in Asheville and the neighboring places like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop located in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist each month to show their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display along with for buy. Aside from a month long campaign, every artist will get a delegated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and discuss their work and a pint glass feature the work of the artist could be available. UpCountry values the support of local art, music, and beer, and will continue to indicate their support for all of these avenues of Asheville. UpCountry brewing is proud to offer live, local music every night. We are also hosting other bands like Mama Danger, Cat and Crow, Astral Plainsmen, Sirius B., The Dirty Badgers, The Junk Drawer, The Free Wheelin' Mamas, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Moonlight Street Folk and more.
Aside from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery is known for live streaming music, but it is extra focus on when Phish plays. They are going to pull down the huge projection screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance freely. The other known live streams that the brewery is centering on are Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry motivates Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

We provide all our music with no cover charge. UpCountry does not wish to limit live music to having a cover charge, which is why all of our events are free to the public.

UpCountry Brewing is well noted for being family and kid friendly. We have a massive outdoor patio space with games for the kiddos along with a cornhole set for family and friends to enjoy. Our patio along with courtyard are also dog friendly.

UpCountry Brewing can offer beer tours by special request and you can look at our website for information. Good Beer Hunting
UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been high quality thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did a fantastic job in developing the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. You have to stay tuned because there are several more canning designs that are on the way.
For those who do not know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will definitely wear his jersey so you have to keep an eye out.
