UpCountry Brewing is known as a brewery, taproom and also a music venue found at 1042 Haywood Road in West Asheville. We like to say that we brew our beer in "West, West Asheville," as it is the brewery located furthest west before leaving Beer City itself.

On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass that will be changed every week. Clients can purchase a featured beer and they can also keep the glass, with 10 percent profit going to the featured nonprofit. We are even hosting those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. It will include various bands including The Paper Crowns, The Dirty Dead and Phuncle Sam. We have got other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
In addition to hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was known for live streaming music, but it is responsive to Phish plays. They are going to pull down the big projection screen to be able to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is known for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry encourages Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!
