Apart from hosting live music, it is already known that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery was recognized for live streaming music, but it is responsive to Phish plays. They typically pull down the large projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is definitely recognized for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been top notch thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did a fantastic job in creating the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
For those who don't know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Cochran will surely wear his jersey so you have to keep an eye out.
