UpCountry Brewing provides a wide variety of beer styles, including saisons, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts, and more. With twenty of its own beers on tap, the brew house is continuously thinking about and making new beers for Asheville to enjoy. UpCountry Brewing will offer goblets, pints, flights and a 22-ounce pour in the taproom. Also, the brewery has beer to go ready for buy. Beer to go will include a growler with your selection of beer or cans of the Mangose, UpCo Lager, Hop Dread Red IPA, or Bogey Free Session IPA. Along with availability in the taproom, UpCountry's beer could be found all over town in different supermarkets, bottle shops, and bars in Asheville, including towns like Woodfin, Waynesville, Canton, Candler, Black Mountain, Arden, Hendersonville, Weaverville, and neighboring locations.

Our extensive beer list is great for beer nerds everywhere. We value creativeness more than anything else in addition to daring recipes that everybody will undoubtedly enjoy. Community

Each month, UpCountry chooses a different local nonprofit to represent their 'Miracle Pint Night' each Thursday. UpCountry already worked different organizations including Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass that could be changed every week. Clients will undoubtedly purchase a featured beer and they could keep the glass. The ten percent of the sales will be going to the nonprofit orgs. At UpCountry, community is essential, and these pint nights are only one way for the brewery to give back.

Local Art And Music

UpCountry Brewing is definitely supporting local art and music in Asheville and all the neighboring locations including Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.

UpCountry always hosts a local artist monthly together with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will be showcasing one artist a month to show their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for buy and display. Aside from a month long campaign, every artist will get a delegated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and discuss their work and a pint glass feature the work of the artist will be available. UpCountry brewing is proud to provide live, local music every night. Once you've taken the family and friends to the tourist spots like Biscuit Head, Nine Mile, and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack, bring them down to UpCountry for an intimate night of Bluegrass, Open Mic, Music Bingo, or live local music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We like to host solo musicians including Dave Desmelik, Anya Hinkle, Old Sap, Stephen Horvath, Robin Lewis, Nikki Forbes, Scott Stetson, and more. We even host those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. It is going to include different bands including The Paper Crowns, The Dirty Dead and Phuncle Sam. Other bands that we love to host include The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.

Along with hosting live music, it's no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery is well-known for live streaming music, but is extra attentive to when Phish plays. They generally pull down the large projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is known for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry will always encourage Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy brews and boogie.

UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been high quality thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did an incredible job in creating the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!

If you do not have any idea yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is definitely a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
