UpCountry Brewing is always supporting local art and music in Asheville and the surrounding areas like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.

In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop situated in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist every month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display as well as for purchase. Apart from the month long campaign, the artist can also get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. In addition to hosting live music, it's no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery has been known for live streaming music, but it's extra attention to when Phish plays. They will pull down the big projector screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is noted for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry encourages Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an outstanding job with designing the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!

Georgia Bulldogs

If you do not have any idea yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is actually a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will surely wear his jersey so you have to keep an eye out.
