Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing helps local art and music in Asheville and close, neighboring locations, including Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will showcase one artist each month to show their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for display and buy. Along with a month long campaign, each artists gets a delegated Pint Night at the brewery in addition to at Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and also discuss their work along a pint glass featuring the work of the artist. Apart from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery was recognized for live streaming music, but it is responsive to Phish plays. They usually pull down the large projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is recognized for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry encourages Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been top notch thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an exceptional job with creating the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are tons of canning designs on the way so you have to stay tuned.
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
