UpCountry Brewing was actually set up in 2016 by craft beer industry veteran John Cochran. UpCountry Brewing provides a wide variety of beer styles, including saisons, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts, and more. We've got over 20 kinds of beers on tap and we're still planning to create new beers that everybody will undoubtedly enjoy. UpCountry Brewing will offer flights, pints, goblets and also a 22-once pour in the taproom. Also, the brewery has beer to go ready for buy. We also have dessert choices for the sweet tooths out there, too! Our wide menu variety provides something for everybody! We are also vegan and gluten-free friendly. Even if you are on a diet, we will do our best to accommodate you. We've got plenty of choices for the entire family and we're kid and dog friendly that you could enjoy.
When you've worked up an appetite hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway or floating down the French Broad River, UpCountry is the ideal place to meet up with friends or family and satisfy your hunger. After eating your dinner, lunch or snack, you could try the corn hole or other activities that we have scheduled at the brewery. Every month, UpCountry can choose a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry already worked various organizations like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. Clients can purchase a featured beer and they could also keep the glass, with 10 percent profit going to the featured nonprofit. Local Art And Music

In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop positioned in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will showcase one artist each month to show their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for display and buy. Aside from the month long campaign, the artist can also get a delegated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and also discuss their work along a pint glass featuring the work of the artist. Aside from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery was noted for live streaming music, but it is responsive to Phish plays. They are going to pull down the large projection screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is actually noted for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry's latest logo re-design is the best thanks to the Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did a great job in creating the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. You must stay tuned as there are several more canning designs which are on the way.
If you do not have any idea yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is actually a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. You must keep an eye out because Cochran will undoubtedly wear his jersey.
