In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop positioned in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will showcase one artist every month to display their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for display and purchase. Apart from live music, it's not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery is well-known for live streaming music, but is extra attentive to when Phish plays. They'll pull down the large projector screen to be able to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance freely. For those who do not know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
