UpCountry definitely worked with different organizations before like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass which will be changed every week. Buyers purchase a featured beer and get to keep the glass, with 10 percent of that beer's sales going towards the featured nonprofit. We are even hosting those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. It'll include different bands such as The Dirty Dead, The Paper Crowns and Phuncle Sam. We also have other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Along with hosting live music, it's no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was known for live streaming music, but it is responsive to Phish plays. They are going to pull down the large projection screen to be able to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is really known for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been first class thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did an incredible job in creating the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. There are a lot of canning designs on the way so you have to stay tuned.
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
