UpCountry Brewing is now found at 1042 Haywood Road in West Asheville and it's a tap room, music venue and a brewery.
UpCountry Brewing can offer a lot of beer styles, that could include saisons, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts and more. With twenty of its own beers on tap, the brew house is consistently thinking about and making new beers for Asheville to enjoy. Together with liquor, UpCountry offers craft signature cocktails that rotate throughout the year according to the season.
Together with brewing and selling delicious beer, UpCountry offers a full food menu featuring appetizers, pizzas, burgers, salads, hot dogs, soups, and even meals for dogs. If you love sweets, we have got different dessert options available for you. Our wide menu variety offers something for everyone! We're also vegan and gluten-free friendly. Even when you're actually on a diet, we will do everything to accommodate you. We have plenty of options for the whole family, along with kid-friendly and dog friendly menu for friends and family to enjoy.
When you've worked up an appetite hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway or floating down the French Broad River, UpCountry is the best place to meet up with friends or family and satisfy your hunger. Apart from live music, we have a yoga class during Sunday, music bingo on Wednesday and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry prefers a different local nonprofit to represent their 'Miracle Pint Night' each Thursday. UpCountry has worked with organizations for example Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry could be hosting the pint night with a unique glass that will change every week. Customers buy a featured beer and get to keep the glass, with ten percent of that beer's sales going towards the featured nonprofit. At UpCountry, community is certainly important and the pint nights could be a fantastic strategy to give back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing is always supporting local art and music in Asheville and the surrounding places like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
UpCountry always hosts a local artist monthly together with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist each month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display along with for purchase. Apart from the month long campaign, the artist can also get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. We even host those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. It's going to include different bands for example The Dirty Dead, The Paper Crowns and Phuncle Sam. We're also hosting other bands like Mama Danger, Cat and Crow, Astral Plainsmen, Sirius B., The Dirty Badgers, The Junk Drawer, The Free Wheelin' Mamas, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Moonlight Street Folk and more.
Apart from live music, it's not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery was noted for live streaming music, but it's sensitive to Phish plays. They're going to pull down the huge projector screen to be able to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance freely. UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been highly rated thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an exceptional job with developing the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. You need to stay tuned since there are several more canning designs which are on the way.
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will certainly wear his jersey so you need to keep an eye out.
