UpCountry Brewing is a brewery, taproom, and music venue found at 1042 Haywood Road in West Asheville. We like to state that we brew our beer in "West, West Asheville," as it is the brewery located furthest west before leaving Beer City itself.
UpCountry Brewing provides a wide variety of beer styles, including saisons, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts, and more. We have over 20 types of beers on tap and we're still looking to create new beers that everybody will surely enjoy. UpCountry Brewing can offer flights, pints, goblets and also a 22-once pour in the taproom. In addition, the brewery has beer to go for buy! The brewery is well-known for live streaming music, but is extra attentive to when Phish plays. They typically pull down the big projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is actually recognized for would include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. You should stay tuned since there are several more canning designs that are on the way.
For those who do not know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will surely wear his jersey so you should keep an eye out.
