We also have our extensive beer list that is the best for beer nerds everywhere. We value creativity and daring recipes in addition to those go-to, easy drinking styles that anybody can enjoy. In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist each month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display in addition to for purchase. Along with a month long campaign, each artists gets a designated Pint Night at the brewery in addition to at Bad Craft. Apart from hosting live music, it is already known that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery was noted for live streaming music, but it is sensitive to Phish plays. They'll pull down the large projector screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is definitely noted for could include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been high quality thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an outstanding job with creating the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. You must keep an eye out because Cochran will surely wear his jersey.
