Each month, UpCountry can select a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry has worked with organizations such as Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass that can be changed every week. Apart from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery has been known for live streaming music, but it is extra attention to when Phish plays. They'll pull down the huge projector screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance freely. UpCountry's latest logo re-design have been the best and it is all thanks to Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did a great job in developing the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
For those who do not know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will certainly wear his jersey so you have to keep an eye out.
