Each month, UpCountry can select a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry unquestionably worked with various organizations before like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry could be hosting the pint night with a unique glass which will change every week. Consumers can buy a featured beer and they could also keep the glass, with 10 percent profit going to the featured nonprofit. The brewery showcases one artist each month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display along with for purchase. Apart from a month long campaign, every artist will get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can display and discuss their work and a pint glass feature the work of the artist could be available. UpCountry will always support the local music, art and beer in your community and will carry on doing this in the future. UpCountry brewing is always proud to offer live, local music on a nightly basis. Once you've taken the friends and family to the tourist spots like Biscuit Head, Nine Mile, and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack, bring them down to UpCountry for an intimate night of Bluegrass, Open Mic, Music Bingo, or live local music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We're always proud to host solo musicians such as Dave Desmelik, Anya Hinkle, Old Sap, Stephen Horvath, Robin Lewis, Nikki Forbes, Scott Stetson, and more. We even host those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. These include bands like Phuncle Sam, The Paper Crowns, and The Dirty Dead. We're also hosting other bands like Mama Danger, Cat and Crow, Astral Plainsmen, Sirius B., The Dirty Badgers, The Junk Drawer, The Free Wheelin' Mamas, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Moonlight Street Folk and more.
Together with hosting live music, it's no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery is well-known for live streaming music, but is extra attentive to when Phish plays. They pull down the huge projector screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance. Other live streams the brewery is actually known for would include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry motivates Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

UpCountry Brewing is well known for being family and kid friendly. We have got a huge outdoor patio space with games for the kiddos along with a cornhole set for family and friends to enjoy. Our patio along with courtyard are also dog friendly.

Situated on Haywood Road in West Asheville, we are surrounded by thousands of neighbors and are proud to be their 'neighborhood bar' for parties, huge gatherings, or simply having a beer with friends.
You should think of UpCountry when you have exited Highway 26 and you coming up to Patton, but you should think of UpCountry when you're trying to find the best beer. We're just right across The Odditorium, which is a West Asheville staple that you can visit before or after you come to our place.
For tourists or just for those passing through, UpCountry offers a welcoming and personable experience. We have got a friendly and certified staff so we understand everything about beer. We have got our beer-tenders that may offer suggestions based on the type of beer that you would like. It's referred to as the Beer City Capital of the United States.
UpCountry Brewing offers beer tours by special request. Just check our website for info! Apart from beer tastings and a tour in the new taproom, you will be able to get a guided tour of the brew house and a crash course on how to make and produce beer. Together with the beer making process, you will determine what UpCountry's equipment does, and how each beer is brewed, from the recipe invention to kegging out the finished product in either cans or kegs.

UpCountry's latest logo re-design has been high quality thanks to friends at Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done a phenomenal job with developing the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. You should stay tuned because there are several more canning designs that are on the way.
If you don't know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Cochran will undoubtedly wear his jersey so you should keep an eye out.
