Community

Every month, UpCountry can select a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry has worked with organizations including Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry will host the pint night with a unique glass which will be changed every week. Clients purchase a featured beer and get to keep the glass, with 10 percent of that beer's sales going towards the featured nonprofit. At UpCountry, community is absolutely essential and these pint nights will be a way for the brewery to give back.

Local Art And Music

UpCountry Brewing is definitely supporting local art and music in Asheville and all the neighboring areas including Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.

In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will be exhibiting one artist a month to show their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for buy and display. Aside from the month long campaign, the artist will also get a delegated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. We also have other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Wish to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.

Aside from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery is well-known for live streaming music, but is extra attentive to when Phish plays. They will pull down the big projection screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everybody can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is definitely recognized for would include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. There are a lot of canning designs on the way so you need to stay tuned.

Georgia Bulldogs

If you don't know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. You should keep an eye out because Cochran will definitely wear his jersey.
