After eating your dinner, lunch or snack, you could try the corn hole or other activities that we have got scheduled at the brewery. Together with live music, we host a yoga class on Sunday mornings, music bingo on Wednesdays, and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry can pick a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry has worked with organizations such as Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. UpCountry Brewing is actually supporting local art and music in Asheville and all the neighboring places such as Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist every month to show their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display along with for buy. Together with a month long campaign, each artists gets a delegated Pint Night at the brewery along with at Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and discuss their work and a pint glass feature the work of the artist will be available. UpCountry will always support the local music, art and beer in your community and will continue doing this in the foreseeable future. UpCountry brewing is always proud to provide live, local music on a nightly basis. If you are going to take your family and friends members to tourist spots such as Biscuit Head, Nine Mile, and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack, you could always bring them to UpCountry for a night of Bluegrass, Music bingo, Open Mic, and live local music. We like to host solo musicians such as Dave Desmelik, Anya Hinkle, Old Sap, Stephen Horvath, Robin Lewis, Nikki Forbes, Scott Stetson, and more. Together with hosting live music, it's no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was recognized for live streaming music, but it's sensitive to Phish plays. They typically pull down the huge projection screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is recognized for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry will always encourage Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy brews and boogie.

If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
