We are infusing a lot of our brews with several syrups and flavors which will offer an extra creative kick. The brewery also has a Randall for infusions and a pilot brew system to help take the brewing one step further. We always focus on experimentation and seeing the deliciousness that we might make with the usage of the knowledge from the brewers.
Together with offering delicious beer, UpCountry has red and white wines along with a full liquor bar of whiskey, vodka, gin, tequila, and other spirits for everyone to enjoy. You do not have to be a hardcore beer lover to enjoy alcohol at our place-we've got choices for everyone! Together with liquor, UpCountry offers craft signature cocktails that rotate throughout the year based on the season.
Together with brewing and selling delicious beer, UpCountry offers a full food menu featuring appetizers, pizzas, burgers, salads, hot dogs, soups, and even meals for dogs. If you love sweets, we also have different dessert choices available for you. Our wide menu variety offers something for everyone! We're also vegan and gluten-free friendly. Even when you're on a diet, we're going to do our best to accommodate you. We have got plenty of choices for the whole family, along with kid-friendly and dog friendly menu for friends and family to enjoy.

Each month, UpCountry will be picking a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry absolutely worked with different organizations before like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. Customers buy a featured beer and get to keep the glass, with ten percent of that beer's sales going towards the featured nonprofit. At UpCountry, community is important, and these pint nights are just one method for the brewery to give back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing is always supporting local art and music in Asheville and the surrounding places like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery will display one artist each month to display their artwork at the taproom of UpCountry for display and purchase. Together with a month long campaign, each artists gets a designated Pint Night at the brewery along with at Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and also discuss their work along a pint glass featuring the work of the artist. UpCountry will always support the local music, art and beer in your community and will carry on doing this in the foreseeable future. Community and business relationships are incredibly important to UpCountry's owner, John Cochran, along with the UpCountry staff, so the brewery looks forward to continue Pint Nights like these to support!
UpCountry brewing is proud to offer live, local music almost every night. Once you've taken the friends and family to the tourist spots like Biscuit Head, Nine Mile, and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack, bring them down to UpCountry for an intimate night of Bluegrass, Open Mic, Music Bingo, or live local music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We are always proud to host solo musicians for example Dave Desmelik, Anya Hinkle, Old Sap, Stephen Horvath, Robin Lewis, Nikki Forbes, Scott Stetson, and more. We even host those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. It'll include different bands for example The Dirty Dead, The Paper Crowns and Phuncle Sam. We have got other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Together with hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery has been known for live streaming music, but it is extra attention to when Phish plays. They pull down the huge projector screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance. The other known live streams that the brewery is centering on are Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry motivates Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

For those who do not know, UpCountry Brewing's owner, John Cochran, is a DAWG Alum! UpCountry has become a go-to spot in Asheville for watching the Georgia Bulldogs games. You must keep an eye out because Cochran will undoubtedly wear his jersey.
