Each month, UpCountry could be selecting a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry already worked different organizations including Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. Customers can buy a featured beer and they could also keep the glass, with 10 percent profit going to the featured nonprofit. Local Art And Music

In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist each month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display along with for purchase. Apart from the month long campaign, the artist can also get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month is there and able to discuss their work, and a pint glass featuring the artist's work is available for purchase. UpCountry values the support of local art, music, and beer, and will continue to show their support for all of these avenues of Asheville. Community and business relationships are incredibly important to UpCountry's owner, John Cochran, along with the UpCountry staff, so the brewery looks forward to continue Pint Nights like these to support!
UpCountry brewing is proud to provide live, local music every night. If you are going to take your friends and family members to tourist spots including Biscuit Head, Nine Mile, and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack, you can always bring them to UpCountry for a night of Bluegrass, Music bingo, Open Mic, and live local music. We're always proud to host solo musicians including Dave Desmelik, Anya Hinkle, Old Sap, Stephen Horvath, Robin Lewis, Nikki Forbes, Scott Stetson, and more. We're even hosting those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes. It is going to include different bands including The Paper Crowns, The Dirty Dead and Phuncle Sam. We have got other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Together with hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was recognized for live streaming music, but it's responsive to Phish plays. They usually pull down the huge projector screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is recognized for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry will invariably encourage Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy brews and boogie.
