Once you have worked up an appetite by hiking at the Blue Ridge Parkway or floating down the French Broad River, UpCountry is the perfect place to talk with your friends and satisfy your hunger. Apart from live music, we also provide yoga class during Sunday, music bingo on Wednesday and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry prefers a different local nonprofit to represent their 'Miracle Pint Night' each Thursday. UpCountry already worked different organizations like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. Consumers will absolutely buy a featured beer and they can keep the glass. The 10 percent of the sales can be going to the nonprofit organizations. At UpCountry, community is absolutely important and the pint nights can be a good method to give back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing supports local art and music in Asheville and close, surrounding locations, like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
UpCountry always hosts a local artist monthly along with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist each month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display in addition to for purchase. Apart from the month long campaign, the artist will also get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can present and also discuss their work along a pint glass featuring the work of the artist. We also love hosting those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes! These include bands like Phuncle Sam, The Paper Crowns, and The Dirty Dead. We're also hosting other bands like Mama Danger, Cat and Crow, Astral Plainsmen, Sirius B., The Dirty Badgers, The Junk Drawer, The Free Wheelin' Mamas, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Moonlight Street Folk and more.
Apart from live music, it is not a secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans. The brewery is known for live streaming music, but it is extra focus on when Phish plays. They generally pull down the large projector screen to stream each show and clear out the chairs and tables in the music room so that Asheville can dance it out! Other live streams the brewery is known for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry encourages Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

UpCountry's latest logo re-design is the perfect thanks to the Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg did an incredible job in creating the labeling artwork for Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, UpCo Mountain Lager and Hop Dread. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. You must keep an eye out because Cochran will absolutely wear his jersey.
