Even when you're actually on a diet, we will try everything to accommodate you. We've got a lot of options for the entire family and we are kid and dog friendly that you could enjoy.
When you've worked up an appetite hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway or floating down the French Broad River, UpCountry is the perfect place to meet up with friends or family and satisfy your hunger. After you eat your dinner, lunch or snack, you could always try our corn hole and other activities scheduled at the brewery. Apart from live music, we also provide yoga class during Sunday, music bingo on Wednesday and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry selects a different local nonprofit to represent their 'Miracle Pint Night' each Thursday. UpCountry has worked with organizations such as Friends of the Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry hosts the pint night with a unique glass that varies week by week. Consumers buy a featured beer and get to keep the glass, with 10 percent of that beer's sales going towards the featured nonprofit. At UpCountry, community is definitely important and these pint nights can be a method for the brewery to provide back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing is always supporting local art and music in Asheville and the surrounding locations like Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist of the month with Bad Craft, an artist shop in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist every month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display in addition to for purchase. Apart from a month long campaign, every artist will get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can display and discuss their work and a pint glass feature the work of the artist can be available. UpCountry will always value the support of local music, art and beer and they will continue to support all of these. UpCountry brewing is proud to give live, local music every night. We also love hosting those Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead Tributes! It will include different bands such as The Dirty Dead, The Paper Crowns and Phuncle Sam. Other bands that we love to host include The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Along with hosting live music, it's no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery has been known for live streaming music, but it's extra attention to when Phish plays. They pull down the large projector screen to stream the show and clear the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance. The other known live streams that the brewery is concentrating on are Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry will always encourage Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy brews and boogie.

UpCountry's latest logo re-design have been the best and it's all thanks to Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done an exceptional job with creating the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you don't have any idea yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is definitely a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. You have to keep an eye out because Cochran will surely wear his jersey.
