Along with live music, we host a yoga class on Sunday mornings, music bingo on Wednesdays, and local pint nights on Thursdays.
Each month, UpCountry can be picking a local nonprofit to represent their "Miracle Pint Night" every Thursday. UpCountry surely worked with different organizations before like Smokies, Habitat for Humanity, LEAF, Asheville Humane Society, and The Rainbow School. On Thursdays, UpCountry can be hosting the pint night with a unique glass that can change every week. Consumers buy a featured beer and get to keep the glass, with ten percent of that beer's sales going towards the featured nonprofit. At UpCountry, community is unquestionably important and the pint nights can be an excellent way to give back.
Local Art And Music
UpCountry Brewing is definitely supporting local art and music in Asheville and all the surrounding locations including Black Mountain, Woodfin, East Asheville, and the River Arts District.
In house, UpCountry hosts a local artist monthly with Bad Craft, an artist shop located in Black Mountain, NC. The brewery showcases one artist every month to display their artwork in UpCountry's taproom for display in addition to for purchase. Aside from a month long campaign, every artist will get a designated Pint Night at the brewery and Bad Craft. The artist of the month can show and discuss their work and a pint glass feature the work of the artist can be available. We have got other bands that we love to host like The Junk Drawer, Mama Danger, the Free Wheelin' Mamas, Cat and Crow, Kaizen with Jeff Sipe, Astral Plainsmen, Cyndi Lou and The Want to, Sirius B., Moonlight Street Folk, The Dirty Badgers, and several more.
Along with hosting live music, it is no secret that UpCountry Brewing is a bunch of hardcore Phish fans! The brewery was known for live streaming music, but it is sensitive to Phish plays. They're going to pull down the large projector screen in order to stream the show and clear all the chairs and tables in the music room so everyone can dance freely. Other live streams the brewery is known for include Widespread Panic, Dead and Co., and Umphrey's McGee. UpCountry encourages Asheville to bring some friends, enjoy some brews, and boogie!

UpCountry's latest logo re-design is the perfect thanks to the Good Beer Hunting in Chicago, IL. Designers Michael Kiser, Cooper Foszcz, and Mike Duesenberg have done a phenomenal job with creating the labeling artwork for UpCountry's Hop Dread, Mangose, Isoprene Hazy IPA, and UpCo Mountain Lager. There are several more canning designs on the way, so stay tuned for what UpCountry and Good Beer Hunting come up with!
If you do not know yet, the owner of UpCountry Brewing is a DAWG Alum. UpCountry has now become a go to spot in Asheville in watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Keep an eye out, because Cochran will wear his jersey.
